Graham Nash & David Crosby 1972 serious score. I had hoped the crackly record sound would only add to the pleasure of this album and I was not disappointed. In University I would have been even more excited. Our record folk section for this project 365 is huge and untouched so far…you just wait! This album is one to research as there’s no album title or insert. HOWEVER ~ there is a large square cut out of the inside liner.. which one can only assume having listened to this amazing, tripped out finger picking, harmony folk ~that the listeners were higher than high, in the very early 70s. Also manifactured and distrubuted in Canada, like the rest of this week’s albums. This album was 50 cents at the thrift in Courtenay. awesome. Apparently the album is entitled Southbound Express (perhaps that was the part that was cut out of the cover to make filters for joints?). I couldn’t find it live anywhere so here’s the two of them in 1970 in all their hippie glory. enjoy. peace.
