Well, I had thought “dance week” but instead yesterday today and tomorrow have 3 things in common. All three are from 1967-69, all three are rethrift (well maybe not tomorrow ~ but you tell me tomorrow what you think) and all three were produced and distrubuted in my childhood home town London, Ontario Canada. I posted a while back this year about the record companies that came out of Canada, in the olden times. Relaxin’ with Chet.
Look into his dreamy eyes.
Today we bring you Chet Atkins ~ a success. As a musician, as a thinker and as a man. The album back really must have been written by his parents. Only they could love him this much. I tried to like it. It sounded like a name of someone I should have in a record “collection”. But non, rethrift, my friend. Rethrift on the basis that I just don’t care if I hear this album again. I promised myself at the start of this 365 project that I’d be picky so I don’t have a thousand records to store or move ( which we do seemingly every year on my birthday and this year may be no different). lol.
Here’s a sub-interesting youtube music montage of his career.
