Are you a Bruce Springsteen fan? I’m not really,  but I do have a few older friends that are stoked about his recent touring. Oh Bruce. I appreciate his earlier crafting of a song but his voice gets old quick, for me. I enjoy his storytelling and the following he has developed over the years. Should I keep this album folks?  An epic 1980s video.

This album was featured in a movie I saw recently on netflix ~Reign Over Me. And wouldn’t you know it ~ the next day I scored this at the thrift store?! Despite the facts that I dont think Liv Tyler or Adam Sandler can act their ways out of a hole and I can’t tolerate the hollywoodization of the 9/11 attacks.. this movie was a touching portrail of the path out of PTSD for a Bob Dylan looking Adam Sandler~ whose family died in 9/11. Cheadle is great. Music (records specifically) were his therapy.

Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen (born September 23, 1949), nicknamed “The Boss,” is an American singer-songwriter-performer who records and tours with the E Street Band. Springsteen is widely known for his brand of heartland rock, poetic lyrics, and Americana sentiments centered on his native New Jersey.[1]

Springsteen’s recordings have included both commercially accessible rock albums and more somber folk-oriented works. His most successful studio albums, Born in the U.S.A. and Born to Run, showcase a talent for finding grandeur in the struggles of daily American life; he has sold more than 65 million albums in the United States and more than 120 million worldwide[2] and he has earned numerous awards for his work, including 21 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and anAcademy Award. He is widely regarded by many as one of the most influential songwriters of the 20th century, and in 2004, Rolling Stone ranked him as the 23rd Greatest Artist of all time.
