It’s Polka Medley Time! If you haven’t polka’d ~ you haven’t lived. Crank the volume on this video!

Maybe it’s because I lived in an Alpine ski community in the kootenays of Bc for too long (3 years ago I left) or maybe it’s my lifetime of exposure to lawrence Welk that  love this music so much.  My sweety and I made another big round of Teriyaki smoked salmon tarts this weekend. I took some photos of this album in front of the ingredients and will post them on my other blog when i get all caught up (post storm). The recipe is linked below in articles, from the last time we made them. yum!! Polka was the perfect musical compliment to stormy day kitchen times.

The big saxaphone is featured on this awesome song MAKIN’ WHOPPIE which is found on this album and played live on his show in 1958 below. And a One and a two…

Don’t worry folks, we have SO much more Welk to enjoy this year. I’m so proud of my Welk collection.
