HAPPY JOHNNY CASH DAY AND WELCOME TO MY NEW BLOG!

FOR THE RECORDS ~ANOTHER 365 DAY PROJECT ! Please read the ABOUT tab for more info on this project and how to get involved / give feedback and enjoy a record a day ~coming at you from crazy Auntie Butter-Duck on gorgeous Quadra Island, BC Canada!

It seems only fitting that the first record of the year  is Johnny Cash!

The Rotten Tomatoes website says he has been in 97 movies! I could of course, dedicate this entire 365 project to JC  but I’ve got 14 other albums I’ll grace you with on.. Johnny Cash Sundays. Stay tuned for those folks! Recorded in 1959 and released in 1960.

“I’d like to wear a rainbow every day / and tell the world that everything is o.k. / But I’ll try to carry off a little darkness on my back. / Until things are brighter, I’m the Man in Black.”

– Johnny Cash
How many of you also are a fan and celebrate “Johnny Cash Sundays?”. A best friend of mine Kate (aka Snapper-Pants) and I thought we started the ritual / religion of honouring him every Sunday until noon. It seems however, that this tradition has spread all over the world.
