While I enjoyed his rendition of Me and Bobby McGee, Roger Miller’s 1967 record, distributed in London, Ontario, Canada is a rethrift. The back cover is adorable, I have to say but not even Top 20 album cover art material. I tried to like you Roger, I tried.

Roger Dean Miller (January 2, 1936 – October 25, 1992) was an American singer, songwriter, musician and actor, best known for his honky tonk-influencednovelty songs. His most recognized tunes included the chart-topping country/pop hits “King of the Road“, “Dang Me” and “England Swings“, all from the mid-1960s Nashville sound era.
Here he is on the Johnny Cash Show in 1969. Cash loved him.
